Our Story
Feeling Swell started as a response to something bigger than us.
After Hurricane Sandy, our community got hit hard. We saw what people were going through and knew we had to do something to help. So we made our first “Feeling Swell” shirt and sold it at a local staple, Mueller’s Bakery. It was a hit. People showed up. And best of all, it meant something.
From there, we just kept going. We put more shirts online, kept supporting different causes, and tried to give back wherever we could. It’s always been just the two of us behind it all, my brother Brian and I, figuring things out as we go and trying to stay true to what felt right from the start.
With a name like “Feeling Swell,” and our own experiences with mental health, we started to understand what this could really be, and how much it mattered. That’s when everything clicked. We realized this could be more than a clothing brand. It could be something rooted in positivity, mental health, and creating something that truly resonated with us.
That’s where we’re at now, and that’s where we’ll keep putting our energy, into building something that feels true to who we are and meaningful to the people around us.
